About the role
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer Intern to join our engineering team for a six-month internship. You will work alongside experienced engineers across front-end and back-end development, contributing to live features on the discovermarket platform.
You will also learn how software is built in an AI-native engineering environment. Our Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC) integrates AI agents throughout the development process, while engineers remain responsible for reviewing, testing and approving the work. You will use our in-house Agent Development Kit (ADK) and learn how to work effectively with AI while developing the judgement to verify what it produces.
What you will do
Full-Stack Development
- Contribute to real product features across front-end and back-end applications
- Work with your mentor to understand requirements and turn them into working, tested solutions
- Write, test, debug and improve code following our development and code review practices
- Learn how APIs and microservices work together and how features move from development to production
AI-Assisted Engineering
- Develop features using our ADK and AI-assisted development workflow
- Use AI agents to support planning, coding and testing while reviewing and verifying all AI-generated output
- Share feedback and learnings to help us improve our AI-assisted engineering workflow
Learning & Collaboration
- Participate in stand-ups, technical discussions, code reviews and training sessions
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions and markets as part of an international team
- Share what you learn, including useful AI tools and workflows, with fellow interns and the wider team
Who we are looking for
- Third- or fourth-year student, or graduate within the last 12 months, in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Able to commit to the full six-month internship
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Understanding of core programming concepts, REST APIs, databases and version control with Git
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot
- Basic understanding of the capabilities and limitations of large language models (LLMs)
- Good written and spoken English, with a willingness to learn, ask questions and take feedback
- Responsible, organised and comfortable working collaboratively in a professional environment
- Nice to have: exposure to Angular, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Docker, AWS/Azure, or a GitHub portfolio showcasing school or personal projects
